A classic tale in a non-classic version.
For children from the age of 3.
This was the debut of a Czech director with Slovak origin, Bela Schenková, in Slovakia. Her adaptation of the famous story by Ch. Perrault has brought a new kind of poetry to our Puppet Theatre at the Crossroads. ANPU Theatre is an experimental art theatre that has been active since 1999. In ANPU, it becomes an everybody´s play: actors and actresses, puppets, music, shadows, decorations and even movements. Since 2005 it has been staged in an unusual theatre – a circus tent. This tent is a follow-up of the ancient tradition of wandering theatre and it travels with the play through cities and villages, all around Czech Republic and Europe as well. Apart from the site of theatre, it is also a cinema, a concert hall, a workshop, and a café. The ringmaster, director, and author of ANPU is Bela Schenková.
