In 2023, BDNR completed a grant application from the EU and IROP development program:
Improvement of Cultural Services of the Puppet Theatre at the Crossroads, in which we requested funds for the improvement of: air conditioning in the theatre hall (with a recuperation unit that will ensure up to 80% energy savings), a new elevator, toilet and the
Theatrium area inside the building. All the work was carried out for a total of €186,463.
One new ladies‘ bathroom was added, and the Theatrium room was renovated into a small theatre hall. We added a lighting rig, sound and lighting technology (LED lights), velvet coverings, a new wooden floor and a theatre carpet, as well as a new elevator in line with
current standards.
