Theatre program

The Puppet Theatre at the Crossroads has a repertoire of 23 productions for children of all age categories and twelve productions for young people and adults. The theatre performs for the public weekly: performances for children take place every Sunday, and on Tuesdays or Wednesdays we offer performances for young people and adults. We also offer performances for kindergartens, primary schools, high schools and universities at pre-arranged times from Tuesday to Friday. A visit to the theatre can include various informal educational activities tailored to the requirements of the pedagogical team (creative workshops, discussions). As part of informal education, the theatre runs two projects: the Discover (through) Theatre! workshop for the public, in cooperation with the Faculty of Pedagogy at UMB and the Pedagogue civil association (a project supported by the NIVAM Ministry of Education), and Five Weeks in the Theatre for young people and teachers, supported by the Slovak Arts Council. In 2023, five premieres took place, we performed 231 performances at home and 45 on tours.
